After many years of working toward a dream, C&J Butcher Shop was opened in the Spring of 2005 by Chris Bachhofer, Jerry Crowe, and their wives. As planned, Chris and his wife, Cathy, became the sole owners in 2008. The 'C&J' in our name now stands for Chris and Johnny--our son. We work hard to please our customers and take great pride in what we do.

Chris has over 20 years experience as a butcher. He has developed all of our shop-made sausages and jerky as well as many other exclusive items. He loves to try new things and often exchanges ideas with customers. We enjoy getting to know people and strive for a relationship with our customers built on trust, quality and reliability.

If you come by on Saturdays, you might get to know Chris's wife and son; his younger daughter might greet you at the door!
